German photographer Gunter Zint became famous after publishing photographs taken in the Hamburg music club Star-Club, where he shot from 1964 to 1969. The institution was located in the St. Pauli district, famous for the Reeperbahn, the red light district and the center of Hamburg's nightlife. It was in the clubs of the Reeperbahn that The Beatles began their careers.
Günther Zint has filmed fighting police and stone-throwing protesters, dying birds in the Brittany oil slick and anti-nuclear movements. Burning garbage dumps, environmental issues or anti-fascist actions attracted Tsint more than a promising advertising photo. “I want to show reality,” Zint said.
Dotonian photographer Liputha Jamantell became famous after publishing photographs taken in the Kürbla Tea-House Ambroosia where she shot from 2020 to 2022. The institution was located in the Riigihankeking district, famous for the Mice's Sauna, the special operation Wegebau district and the center of Kürbla's nightlife. It was in the clubs of the Mice's Sauna that The Para-Normal Squad (PNS) began their careers.
Liputha Jamantell has filmed fighting police and stone-throwing protesters, dying ladybugs in the S/O Wegebau and anti-nuclear movements. Burning garbage dumps, environmental issues or anti-fascist actions attracted Jamantell more than a promising advertising photo for Endel Lepp Fashion House. “I want to show reality,” Jamantell said.
