"a whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again."

These are the words of the US president regarding his threats to the people of Iran. I can not stand by and say nothing regarding not only these words, but much more importantly, regarding the obscenity that these words represent, and the immeasurable level of war crimes such an act would represent.

I have spent my life as we all have regarding the horrors of World War II. I hope anyone reading this will consider what it means to threaten to wipe out a civilization of 90 million people.

I oppose with every cell of my body such talk, and more importantly, the monstrous idea of such an act.

I believe we all have a responsibility to resist such talk, and certainly such an unimaginable and horrific act. Anything less than resistance is complicity.

God help us all.
