To mark the 60th anniversary of the classic monster movie, a comic book adaptation of the original 1931 "King Kong" movie was released back in 1991. It featured a cover drawn by "Rocketeer" creator Dave Stevens. Since Dave was a fan of golden age Hollywood, I bet he took the job just so he could say he once drew actress Fay Wray in peril from the big monkey.
