Lewis Carroll (Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, 1832-1898), the famous author of Alice in Wonderland, was one of the best amateur photographers of his time, particularly in his images of Victorian children. His favorite models were the Liddell sisters, Lorina (Ina), Edith, and Alice, who inspired the fictional Alice, and Alexandra Kitchin, known as Xie. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexandra_Kitchin
In the course of his 24-year long photographic career Carroll took about 3000 pictures of which approximately 1580 survive.
