It was on this day, February the 22nd, in 1977, that Eagles released the single 'Hotel California'
Like many peripatetic photographers I've stayed in far too many hotels, hostels and guest houses over the years, some I've loved, some I've hated.
In particular I've come to dislike the 'generic' chains - hotels that are clean, comfortable, predictable, but quite frankly - from the second you enter reception, could be anywhere on the earth.
So here's a set from me - one of the better, more eclectic, more memorable ones.
Hotel Malkiya Inter, in the city of Veliko Tarnovo, the historical and cultural capital of Bulgaria.
