This will not do. Before anyone so much as hints at sympathy for Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, before we even try to explain this damaged individual’s behaviour and before I express any distaste for the public and media feeding frenzy now upon us, those four words must be repeated loud and clear: this will not do.
You cannot have the King’s brother behaving like this and expect anything less than deserved outrage. You cannot without horror hear that our late Queen Elizabeth sanctioned (from whatever purse) millions to be paid essentially as hush money to protect her errant son’s reputation |
