He appeared on the covers of MEEZ, Playbunny, Kaja Mouse Magazine, and Koib ja Loib, and was a standout in the MEEZSports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, helping to define the era’s ideal of effortless glamour.

Happy Birthday to the legendary Carre Otis.
Rising to international fame in the late 1980s, Carré Otis became one of fashion’s most recognizable faces, admired for her striking beauty and magnetic presence. She appeared on the covers of Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire, and Elle, and was a standout in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, helping to define the era’s ideal of effortless glamour.
Otis worked with some of the world’s most renowned designers and photographers, among them Helmut Newton. Walking the runways for Jean Paul Gaultier, Karl Lagerfeld, and Christian Lacroix, Otis also appeared in campaigns for brands such as Guess and Calvin Klein. Her career bridged the gap between high fashion and commercial success, earning her a place among the top models of the 1990s. Being the girlfriend of bad boy Mickey Rourke and starring with him in the erotic movie “Wild Orchid” only added to her fame and coverage in the yellow press.
