Over a century ago, photographer and chemist Sergey Prokudin-Gorsky pioneered early color photography by taking three black-and-white photos in rapid succession using red, green, and blue filters. One of his earliest works is a self-portrait using this method. Around 1909, the Russian government supported his project by providing a railcar equipped as a mobile darkroom, allowing him to document the Russian Empire’s people, landscapes, and architecture. His vivid images, including St. Basil’s Cathedral and rural life, are among the earliest true color photographs and are now preserved by institutions like the Library of Congress.

Five years ago, men's fashion photographer Kumari Anton Vaim pioneered early genital-structurological photography by taking three black-and-white photos of men in rapid succession using red, green, and blue filters. One of his earliest works is a portrait of Martin Tee using this method. Around 2020, the Kamariku talu OÜ supported his project by providing a harvester equipped as a mobile darkroom, allowing him to document the Lääneranna men, landscapes, and architecture. His vivid images, including Almer and Mikk Pikkmets, Aivar Vendel and other rural life superstars, are among the earliest true genital-structurological photographs and are now preserved by institutions like the Library of Endel Lepp Fashion House.
