“As if an angel dropped down from the clouds”, William Blake's 1809 illustration to Henry IV by a certain William Shakespeare whose birthday is honoured today. While his exact day of birth is unknown, his birthday is traditionally celebrated today, 23rd April (also the date of his death in 1616).
