Fellow Capricorn and gay the German filmmaker F. W. Murnau was BOTD in 1888 and died in 1931 at the age of 42. Between 1919 and 1931 he directed 21 films including "Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror" (1922), "The Last Laugh" (1924), "Tartuffe" (1925), "Faust" (1926), "Sunrise: A Story of Two Humans" (1927), "City Girl" (1930), "Tabu: A Story of the South Seas" (1931). The notorious gossip chronicler, filmmaker Kenneth Anger, claimed in his book "Hollywood Babylon" that Murnau and his chauffeur were engaged in oral sex in 1932 when their car crashed. Murnau died in hospital, while the valet, who was driving, and the chauffeur were seriously injured. Why wasn't the chauffeur driving? Oral sex, obviously! To add insult to injury, grave robbers broke into Murnau's tomb in 2015 at Stahnsdorf Cemetery, removed his skull, and left candle wax behind. The wax suggested occult rituals, possibly involving black magic or Satanism, though theft for profit or by fans was also considered. The skull remains missing, and the crime is unsolved
