These lively subjects range from the earliest emperors and founders of Japan to legendary warriors and tales from folklore. Carefully and realistically drawn with fine line work and detail, these images present a terrific record of Japan's history. The settings are beautifully rendered and shaded, and many designs include deluxe printing treatments such as burnishing, embossing, or a dusting of mica. A great choice for a collector or a student of Japanese history and culture.
